micro1 licenses operational data such as SOPs, knowledge bases, CRM records, project histories and support tickets, and publishes three tiers: $100K to $500K, $500K to $2M, and $2M+ for highly unique data. It wants established companies with 30+ full-time employees and mostly English records, and prioritizes the US, then the UK, Canada and other Western markets. It pays in full within 30 days of invoicing, after a 30-day review. In October 2026 it committed $1 billion over 12 months to buying company data.
- Best fit: 30+ full-time staff, several years of records across multiple systems, English documentation.
- You do not need to anonymize first; micro1 de-identifies and deletes raw data on an agreed schedule.
- Separate tracks exist for closed companies and for video of hands-on work.

How the process works
Referred companies also go through a short AI interview to assess fit before partnership discussions.
- Discovery and pricing: micro1 identifies licensable datasets and makes an offer.
- Contracting: licensing terms, including no resale until personal information is removed.
- Delivery and acceptance: you transfer data by API or another approved method; micro1 has 30 days to review.
- Payment: you invoice after acceptance and are paid within 30 days.
How micro1 compares
micro1 publishes the clearest tiers but has the tightest eligibility. Companies under 30 staff, outside Western markets or with non-English records usually fit other buyers better. See company data buyers compared.
Origin Data Partners is independent and is not affiliated with any program named here. We help owners compare buyers and find the best fit for their records. See what your data is worth.
Common questions
Is micro1 legit?
Yes. micro1 is an AI data company that supplies frontier labs and enterprises, and in October 2026 it announced a $1 billion, 12-month commitment to buying company data, financed with capital from Citi and Hercules Capital. As with any buyer, sign an agreement before transferring anything and confirm the acceptance and payment terms.
How much does micro1 pay for company data?
micro1 publishes $100K to $500K for qualified partnerships, $500K to $2M for large or multi-team datasets, and $2M+ for highly unique data. Its default online estimate is lower, around $50K to $93K, so treat the tiers as ceilings to work toward, not a quote.
Does micro1 accept companies outside the US?
It accepts referrals globally, but says demand is strongest for companies in the US, UK and Canada. Records and communication must be primarily in English.
How long does micro1 take to pay?
After you transfer data, micro1 has 30 days to review and approve it. You then invoice, and payment is made within 30 days of the invoice.
Does micro1 buy data from closed companies?
Yes, through a separate program for companies that had 50+ staff at peak, with Slack or Teams history in English, based in one of ten countries: the US, UK, Canada, India, Australia, Singapore, Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany and France.
Who does micro1 sell the data to?
micro1 says data is licensed only to labs and enterprises in the US and allied countries, after personal and identifying information is removed.
