Information you provide.
The inquiry asks for company and contact details and a business overview. To request a review, provide your company name, public website, and work email. A phone number and how you heard about Origin are optional. We store these details, your answers, internal review indicators, contact permission, a request reference, and processing timestamps in a private database.
We use review requests to assess company fit and follow up about that request. Contact permission does not subscribe you to marketing or authorize a buyer introduction. We do not sell contact details. Sharing company records or making an introduction requires separate authorization.
The contact form stores your email, topic, message, reference, and timestamps so Origin can handle and respond to your question or privacy request. Do not include company records, credentials, or sensitive personal information. There are no uploads or account connections.
The referral form stores your name, email, optional role or firm, the referred company's name and optional website, how you know the company, whether it knows about the referral, optional notes, a reference, and timestamps. We use these details to contact you, to contact the company where appropriate, and to credit a referral fee if a deal closes. Do not include company records or passwords.
If you request a referral link, we store your name, email, optional role or firm, your link code, and timestamps so we can credit and pay you. Partner records are kept for five years unless you ask us to delete them. When a visitor arrives through a referral link, the code is kept in that browser for 90 days and sent with any company inquiry, so the inquiry can be credited to the partner. The code identifies the partner, not the visitor.
Before you submit.
Business-overview selections stay in browser memory and, where available, this tab’s session storage. The tab also holds a broad arrival category and first public page path so Origin can understand which content led to an inquiry. Company name, website, email, and phone fields are not saved in that storage. Those fields are sent when you submit your inquiry. “Clear answers and start again” clears the assessment and receipt state.
An accepted inquiry may leave a reference in this tab so you can view its confirmation. The website does not display an automated fit verdict.
Hosting and analytics.
Cloudflare hosts this site and its private request database. It processes connection and request information to deliver and protect the service. Database access is restricted to authorized account access. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you submit a company inquiry, we store its broad arrival category, such as search, AI referral, paid, other referral, or direct or unknown, and its first and most recent public landing page paths with the private inquiry. This helps us understand which pages produce inquiries. We do not store a referring URL, search query, campaign label, or form answer in these source fields. This first-party inquiry attribution is separate from Google Analytics and works even if you turn analytics off.
Google Analytics is on by default. It measures page visits and inquiry activity using cookies. It receives page paths, basic device and approximate location information, and events such as starting or completing the inquiry. We exclude form answers, names, email addresses, and company details. Page URLs omit query strings and fragments. We collect public referring website domains and validated campaign labels to understand traffic sources, without referral paths or individual search queries. Automatic form tracking, Google signals, and advertising personalization are disabled. User and event data retention is set to two months, without resetting on new activity. Standard aggregated reports follow Google’s separate retention practices. We remember your choice for 180 days; analytics cookies expire after 180 days. You can turn analytics off at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. See Google’s privacy policy. External websites have their own privacy practices.
Contact information and form answers are excluded from Google Analytics. With analytics on, a successful review submission produces an event without its name, website, email, phone, answers, or request reference. Accepted inquiries remain in Origin’s private database for review. A separate alert service may email the owner the inquiry type and reference only; the alert contains no submitted company details, contact details, or form answers.
Retention and security.
Website review requests and contact messages are retained for 90 days, then removed from the active database by a daily cleanup task. Referral submissions are retained for two years, because a referred deal can close months later and the submission date is used to credit the referral. Referral partner records are retained for five years. A request may therefore remain until the next scheduled run after its retention period. Information needed for a later agreement would be handled under that separate arrangement.
Cloudflare backup history can retain an earlier database state for a limited period after active deletion. Its D1 recovery documentation describes a recovery window of up to 30 days, depending on the plan. A recovery must be followed by reapplying due deletions.
The service uses encrypted connections, private database access, bounded inputs, and temporary abuse-prevention counters. The application does not persist raw IP addresses in request records. Cloudflare may process network metadata under its service practices. No system can promise absolute security.
Questions and privacy requests.
Use the contact form, choose the privacy topic, and provide the email used for your request and its reference if available. You can ask about access, correction, deletion, or withdrawing contact permission. Origin may need to verify that you are authorized to make the request. Do not send identity documents through this form.
Use Cookie settings in the footer to turn Google Analytics off. Rights and any applicable exceptions depend on your location.
